The Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 69-44 in Saturday's league test.
The Bruins (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record.
The Cougars now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a River Ridge test on Tuesday, February 6. Pulaski County will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-10.
