Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR), 73-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarendon upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions host Central (West Helena, AR) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Central won 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Bradford will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
