Maryland High School Basketball - DeMatha crushes Our Lady of Good Counsel

DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), 75-43 in a league bout.

With the win, DeMatha upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Stags travel to Mililani (Mililani, HI) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Mililani lost 66-62 in their recent non-league bout against Punahou (Honolulu, HI)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Monday, December 18. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 48-46 non-league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
