In Friday's league outing, the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), by a margin of 76-42.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Patrick County was trounced by Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 53-52, in a non-league outing.
The Buckin' Elks now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 20. Elkin will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 80-26 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-8.
