Nebraska High School Basketball - Giltner beaten by High Plains

The High Plains Storm ran past the host Giltner Hornets basketball squad by a count of 52-44 in Friday's league bout.

With the victory, High Plains upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Storm host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Shelby-Rising City lost 52-33 in their recent non-league bout against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE)

Next up, the Hornets play the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Giltner will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 66-25 non-league loss to Twin Loup (Sargent, NE).
