Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 67-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Robbinsville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Black Knights host Andrews (Andrews, NC) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Smoky Mountain challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Andrews won 67-65 in their recent league challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain challenge, on Monday, December 18. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 68-64 league loss to Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
