The William Tennent Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting New Hope-Solebury Lions to 22 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Ghost Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. William Tennent will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 77-58 non-league loss to La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-4.

The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA). The Bears come into the Suburban One - American contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Upper Moreland was routed by Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA), 51-47, in a league contest.
