William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), 70-59 in a league bout.

With the win, William Tennent upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Council Rock South (Holland, PA) to clash with the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Council Rock South won 40-39 in their recent league bout against Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) in a Suburban One - American bout, on Monday, February 5. New Hope-Solebury will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Galloping Ghosts go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 76-69 league win over Wissahickon (Ambler, PA).
