Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shenandoah Raiders (Middletown, IN), 45-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northeastern upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights host Avon (Avon, IN) to play the Orioles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Raiders play the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars (Greenwood, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 55-47 non-league win over Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN).
