North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Halifax ripped by Wilson Prep

The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Northwest Halifax Vikings to 35 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP Pride for a 1A Tar Roanoke contest on Friday, January 5. Wilson Prep will meet a Pride team coming off a 64-33 non-league loss to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Pride record now stands at 2-3.

The Vikings (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Vance County was routed by Northern Durham (Durham, NC), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
