The Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR) basketball nipped the host Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR), 55-48 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras go into the 4A Region 4 test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Fountain Lake was tipped by Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR), 52-38, in a non-league test.
The Apaches now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Fountain Lake for a 4A Region 4 test on Thursday, January 4.
