The Pulaski County Cougars basketball team (Dublin, VA), was nudged 59-52 in Friday's league battle with the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA)
The Bruins now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. Blacksburg will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-50 league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Radford edged Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 68-47, in a non-league battle.
