The Miller Grove Hornets basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Ector Eagles to 21 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yantis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19.

Next up, the Eagles play the Savoy Cardinals (Savoy, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Ector will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record.
