The Lake Creek Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Magnolia West Mustangs to 41 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East View for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Mustangs (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Bears enter the 5A Region III District 21 contest with a 15-4 record.
