The Marion County Knights basketball team (Lebanon, KY), was overwhelmed 77-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY)

The Cardinals now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCracken County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Taylor County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 84-28 non-league win over St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Butler County trounced Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY), 56-47, in a non-league battle.
