The Taylor County Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Marion County Knights to 28 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Hardin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Taylor County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-45 league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 24-14.

The Knights (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Nelson County triumphed over Washington County (Springfield, KY), 61-41, in a league contest.
