The McCracken County Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Marshall County Marshals to 40 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. McCracken County will meet a Vikings team coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Pope County (Golconda, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.

The Marshals (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Hancock County was crushed by Breckinridge County (Harned, KY), 60-37, in a league challenge.
