In Tuesday's non-league match, the host McCracken County Mustangs basketball team scored a good 54-45 triumph over the Marshall County Marshals.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 8. McCracken County will attempt to move on its 27-5 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 15-10 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
With the defeat, Marshall County moves to 20-9 on the year.
