Minnesota High School Basketball - New Ulm knocked off by Marshall

The Marshall Tigers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host New Ulm Eagles to 56 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mankato East for a AAA Section 2 contest on Saturday, December 16. Marshall will meet a Cougars team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jordan (Jordan, MN). The Hubmen / Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Jordan ran past Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN), 59-48, in a league contest.
