The Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), 81-25 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 3-6 record.

The Bearcats now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Era for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Pilot Point will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 51-21 non-league win over Calvary Academy (Denton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-5.
