North Carolina High School Basketball - Seventy-First falls to South View

December 15, 2023: Hope Mills, NC 28348

In Friday's league match, the host South View Tigers basketball team scored a good 60-49 triumph over the Seventy-First Falcons.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 19. South View will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 59-45 league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).

With the defeat, Seventy-First moves to 2-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Colts in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 19. The Colts enter the match with a record of 5-0. Cape Fear won 79-33 in their recent league match against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
