Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 67-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 6-0. New Kent won 37-29 in their recent non-league bout against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Louisa County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
