North Carolina High School Basketball - Topsail can't hold off North Brunswick

The North Brunswick Scorpions basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Topsail Pirates to 38 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Scorpions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Brunswick for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.
The Pirates (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, West Brunswick was nudged by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
