The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. James Monroe won 73-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Boys' Home (Covington, VA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Covington will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
