The Paynesville Bulldogs (Paynesville, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN), 83-77 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Lakers go into the AA Section 3 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Minnewaska Area was tipped by New London-Spicer (New London, MN), 65-54, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Upsala for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 74-47 league win over St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.
