In Friday's non-league outing, the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) basketball squad edged the host Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE), by a count of 30-29.
The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Lewis Central held off Atlantic (Atlantic, IA), 54-50, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Ashland-Greenwood for a non-league outing on Monday, January 2.
