Nebraska High School Basketball - Auburn can't hold off Freeman

The Freeman Falcons basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Auburn Bulldogs to 29 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson-Brock for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Freeman will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 17-3.
The Bulldogs (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The Rockets enter the C1 District 1 contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Syracuse nudged Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE), 48-35, in a non-league contest.
