The Fairfield Central Griffins basketball team (Winnsboro, SC), was nudged 48-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC)
The Cyclones now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eau Claire for a non-league battle on Monday, December 19. Chester will confront a Shamrocks team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Shamrocks record now stands at 2-8.
