The Chester Cyclones basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Fairfield Central Griffins to 39 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cyclones now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewisville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Chester will battle a Lions team coming off a 73-71 non-league loss to Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Lions record now stands at 0-6.

The Griffins (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Blythewood was nudged by Ridge View (Columbia, SC), 57-48, in a non-league contest.
