Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), 57-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Findlay upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Defiance (Defiance, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Defiance won 51-44 in their recent league bout against Van Wert (Van Wert, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Whitmer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 72-33 non-league loss to Lima Senior (Lima, OH).
