The John Battle Trojans basketball team (Bristol, VA), was nudged 81-78 in Friday's league battle with the host Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA)

The Generals now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Springs for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Lee will battle a Titans team coming off a 66-51 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Parry McCluer was nudged by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 50-46, in a league battle.
