In Friday's league outing, the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) basketball squad beat the host Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL), by a margin of 60-44.
The Redbirds (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Mid-Illini outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Limestone was beaten by Morton (Morton, IL), 62-28, in a league outing.
