Alabama High School Basketball - Helena holds off Bibb County

December 16, 2022: Centreville, AL 35042

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) and the host Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL), saw Helena's basketball squad hold off Bibb County by a tally of 37-33.

With the victory, Helena improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Huskies host Hueytown (Hueytown, AL) to confront the Golden Gophers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Golden Gophers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Hueytown won 45-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)

Next up, the Choctaws confront the American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Bibb County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 46-23 non-league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL).
