Nebraska High School Basketball - Cross County can't hold off Bruning-Davenport/Shickley

The Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Cross County Cougars to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will battle a Bison team coming off a 44-24 non-league loss to Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE). The Bison record now stands at 1-4.

The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mead (Mead, NE). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Mead was edged by East Butler (Brainard, NE), 49-24, in a non-league bout.
