Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX) and the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), saw Tivy's basketball squad overcome Canyon by a tally of 46-31.

With the victory, Tivy improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Antlers travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to confront the Matadors in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Seguin lost 69-35 in their recent league challenge against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Monday, December 19. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 75-25 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).
