Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH) and the host Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), saw Field's basketball squad knock off Coventry by a count of 37-25.

With the victory, Field upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Garfield (Garrettsville, OH) to play the G-Men in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The G-Men come into the challenge with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Comets play the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a Metro challenge, on Monday, December 19. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 55-17 league loss to Norton (Norton, OH).
