The Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), 42-36 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Metro test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Woodridge was tipped by Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH), 37-36, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Streetsboro for a Metro test on Monday, February 6. Coventry will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 34-28 non-league win over Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 16-5.
