Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove overwhelmed by Prospect

The Prospect Knights basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers to 28 in the Knights league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Forest for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Prospect will battle a Scouts team coming off a 72-38 non-league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 10-2.
The Grenadiers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Trevians come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, New Trier was routed by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 39-32, in a non-league contest.
