The Fennimore Golden Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Southwestern Wildcats to 39 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Platteville for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Fennimore will meet a Hillmen team coming off a 63-38 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Hillmen record now stands at 5-1.

The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, River Ridge ran past Shullsburg (Shullsburg, WI), 42-26, in a league contest.
