The Midway Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Harker Heights Knights to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Midway will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 31-25 league win over Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-10.

The Knights (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos enter the 6A Region II District 12 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Hutto was outscored by Midway (Waco, TX), 62-50, in a league contest.
