The Harrold Hornets (Harrold, TX) basketball crushed the host Northside Indians (Vernon, TX), 47-25 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Benjamin (Benjamin, TX). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region II District 16 test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Benjamin was trounced by Midway (Henrietta, TX), 61-39, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Electra for a 1A Region II District 16 test on Friday, January 6. Northside will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 68-38 league loss to Harrold (Harrold, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
