In Friday's non-league outing, the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL), by a margin of 45-44.
The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bibb County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3.
