Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) and the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), saw St. Thomas More's basketball squad overcome Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley by a tally of 43-30.

With the victory, St. Thomas More improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Olympia (Stanford, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Olympia lost 75-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Tremont (Tremont, IL)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
