The Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) basketball crushed the host Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR), 52-17 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (8-1) will now prepare for their test against North Lake (Silver Lake, OR). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, North Lake walloped La Pine (La Pine, OR), 57-9, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Central Linn for a 2A Valley Coast test on Tuesday, December 19. Gold Beach will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 42-29 non-league loss to Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR). The Cobras record now stands at 1-4.
