The Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) basketball crushed the host Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR), 49-8 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Bonanza (Bonanza, OR). The Antlers go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Bonanza was trounced by Modoc (Alturas, CA), 49-40, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brookings-Harbor for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Gold Beach will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-3.
