The Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 53-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Mighty Macs go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Mother McAuley notched a victory over Marist (Chicago, IL), 51-38, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Butler for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Lincoln-Way Central will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 85-20 league win over Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Lynx record now stands at 9-5.
