Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Whiteoak upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bethel-Tate (Bethel, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Bethel-Tate won 53-29 in their recent league bout against Blanchester (Blanchester, OH)

Next up, the Blue Jays clash with the New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 49-40 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, OH).
