The West Chicago Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and held the host St. Edward Green Wave to 35 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a Upstate Eight contest on Tuesday, December 19. West Chicago will meet a Maroons team coming off a 60-36 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 6-5.

The Green Wave (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights enter the Chicagoland Christian contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Chicago Christian was outscored by Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL), 62-58, in a non-league contest.
