Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Defiance nips Turner Ashby

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Fort Defiance Indians basketball squad scored a tight 64-63 victory over the Turner Ashby Knights.
With the victory, Fort Defiance advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Indians host Sherando (Stephens City, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocktown for a Valley battle on Tuesday, December 17. Turner Ashby will meet a Raptors squad coming off a 50-41 non-league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Raptors record now stands at 3-3.
