The Fort Defiance Indians basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Turner Ashby Knights to 56 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke County for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Fort Defiance will face a Eagles squad coming off a 83-55 non-league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynesboro for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Turner Ashby will face a Little Giants squad coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 0-2.
